La Sicilia - West Deptford

For my first entry, I will be trying the Margherita from my local pizza joint, La Sicilia.

First impression: thought there’d be more mozzerella Basil was a little sparce too but thats not a big deal-breaker. It’s all about the flavor.

First bite: The crust is spectacular. Chewy but crunchy. The mozzerella fell off the slice but it was very tasty. Tomato sauce is full flavor and not runny.

Final verdict: I love the basil flavor and the tomato sauce. Wish there was more mozz but who doesnt love cheese?? The crust is the best part. It’s a very solid margherita, but this is my first review so im excited to see what is better or worse. This is baseline for now. 9/10

BONUS: Their onion rings are fantastic.

Margherita Pizza

Margherita Pizza, a pizza made with tomatoes, fresh mozzerella, and basil leaves. Red, white, and green to symbolize the Italian flag. I quite enjoy Margherita pizzas. And while I don’t have an ounce of Italian in me, I will be documenting the best Margherita pizzas I doscover in this section of the website.
